2K Sports Announces MLB 2K8 Opening Day Xbox LIVE Weekend

2K Sports is again bringing the fun back into baseball as the company announced Tuesday a special Opening Day Xbox Live Weekend for Major League Baseball 2K8. The fun starts on April 4th and runs through April 6th as fans of all ages will compete in a number of exciting online activities including a 72-hour Play & Win Sweepstakes. In this every hour, gamers who register and play can win special prize packages like exclusive 2K Sports t-shirts, hats, Microsoft points, and much more.

Even before players step up to the plate, they will have the opportunity to practice their swings by downloading the free game demo of MLB 2K8 available on the Xbox LIVE Marketplace for the Microsoft Xbox 360. The demo allows players to practice at Boston's legendary Fenway Park and play three full innings as either the Boston Red Sox or the Colorado Rockies.
