Apple could be considering an option to bundle its iPod with unlimited iTunes download service, for a price.

Apple is the subject of more speculation, this time targeting the iPod and Apples iTunes music subscription service. Imagine as a music lover, you could go out and buy an iPod music player, but you have the option to spend a little more for it, maybe an additional $100, and for that extra $100 you would get lifetime access to iTunes library.

The other option might be a regular priced iPod and a $7 per month subscription fee. Mathematically, if your iPod will last more than 14 1/2 months, then that extra $100 would be worth it for lifetime iTunes for completely unlimited downloads on iTunes.

Nokia created an online music store to compete with Apple's iTunes. Back in December of 2007, Nokia announced that if would offer unlimited free downloads from Universal Music Group on some if its select mobile phones. Universal of course would receive a cut of the revenue of the sales of those phones but users were drawn to the phones for the music downloads.

Could this be a way for Apple to revitalize it's music download business? Some analysts believe that this could be the case but Apple spokespersons refused to comment at this time.
