If you own a stereo, have WiFi and use iTunes, you should consider looking into Apple's Airport Express.

Apple's Airport Express was updated today to support much faster 802.11n wireless networks. So if you have a stereo, WiFi, and use iTunes, you should consider using the Airport Express as well. It's a fairly inexpensively device running about $99 for Mac or PC, and can create a wireless network or actually extend the range of your current network. This allows for its main feature, the Listening Post to come into play making for very easy iTunes streaming.

Basically you plug the Airport Express into an electrical outlet somewhere near your stereo and run a single analog or digital cable to your sound system. Then you run the configuration software and you're in. When you run iTunes next, you'll see an option to play the music out of your stereo or out of your computer speakers. How's that for cool? You can now send your music from iTunes right to your stereo.

Now that Airport Express is updated from 802.11g to 802.11n, you should see speeds about five times faster. And no one can complain about streaming their music over their stereo at n speeds over g speeds all for only $99.
