Bioshock Receives Spike TV’s Game of the Year Award

I just received a note from 2K Games letting me know that the Spike TV VGA show selected Bioshock as the Game of the year among awarding it other honors. Here is part of the press release:
"2K Games is pleased to announce that BioShock was selected as the winner for 2007’s Game of the Year, Best Xbox 360 Game and Best Original Score at Spike TV's 5th annual ”Video Game Awards.” The show pays tribute to the outstanding achievements of games, designers, animation, breakthrough technology, music and performances of the past year in the world of video games."
In my review several months ago, I did say that Bioshock was one of my picks for one of the best games of the year. I also really loved Halo 3 and have just finished completely playing and reviewing Mass Effect. All three of these games are among the my choice of the best games of 2007.
Now I know that there are more games that you might think would qualify for this honor and we would like to know what they are. So now its your turn.
